FEDERAL EMPLOYEE DISABILITY INSURANCE
BENEFITS PROGRAM

The
Federal Disability Insurance Program is available to
ALL Federal Government Employees,
Non Postal Federal Employees and Postal
Employees. The Federal
Employee Disability Income Insurance is available in
$100 increments up to
$2,500 per Month. The minimum Monthly Benefit
amount is $600 and the maximum
Monthly Benefit can not exceed 66 2/3% of
your GROSS Pay or $2,500 per month,
whichever is less.
During
Open Season ONLY the Federal Disability Insurance is
GUARANTEED TO ISSUE
without Riders or Waivers and Will Cover Any
Pre-Existing Condition(s) after 12
Months of
continuous coverage.
All
Federal Employees who has been actively at work full time
at their regular
occupation for the 30 days prior to enrollment, YOU
CANNOT BE DECLINED for
coverage. In addition, NO MEDICAL CONDITION(s) CAN BE
WAIVED OR RIDERED OUT of
the coverage. ALL PRE EXISTING CONDITIONS ARE
COVERED after 12 months. The
Federal Employees Must Enroll During The Open Season
Nov. 12th - Dec. 10th to be
eligible and qualify for the Preferred Risk Underwriting.
Federal Employees can
select the Short Term Disability Income Insurance Plan to begin
Paying out Monthly
Benefits on the 15th or 31st Day (1st day if hospitalized) of
a covered
Disability. Twenty Four Hour Coverage provides coverage
both, On and Off the Job
is included. Federal Government Employees can
select Short Term
Disability Income Benefits to be payable for 1
Year or 2 Years. The Disability
Income Benefit Payout Period Increases
Each Year
Policy has been in Force. After Five Years, A One Year Benefit Increases to
18 months OR a 2 year
Benefit Increases to a 3 Year Benefit.
