FEDERAL EMPLOYEE VISION PLAN
The Smile The Federal Employee Dental Insurance Plan gives you the OPTION to include a Vision Plan Benefit with your Enrollment in the Federal Dental Plan for an additional $5.00 per month. When you enter the Online Quote and Enrollment Portal the Vision Plan Option Box is Defaulted to YES. If you elect Not to take the Vision Plan Benefit, simply change the Vision Plan Option Box to say No. Below are some of the Vision Plan Benefits included with the Optional Vision Plan Benefit Rider. This is a brief description of the Discounts, Services and Benefits which are subject to change. Other Vision Plan Benefits could be added in the future. The Vision Program is a Discount Plan and is not affiliated with Security Life Insurance Company of America. The Vision Program is Not a required Coverage Option of the Federal Employee Dental Insurance Plan. The Vision Benefit Plan is OPTIONAL.
VISION PLAN: For an additional $5.00 per month, is not required but is available for those interested. The Enrollment Portal and Quote Portal again is Defaulted to include the Vision Plan and you must change it to No if you elect not to take the Vision Discount Package. The Vision Discount Package is available only if you Enroll in the Smile, Federal Employee Dental Plan. The Vision Plus Discount Package is NOT available Stand Alone and can Only be added to the Federal Employee Dental Plan as an Option. The network is comprised of approximately 3,000 licensed dispensing audiologists. Additionally, the mail order service provides up to 50% savings on supplies including replacement batteries.
