Our Federal Dental Insurance Programs
are an Excellent Choice For Federal Employees Located in Rural Areas
where None or Very Few Dentist Offices participate with Any of the Dental HMO's
or PPO's. Accepting Insurance and Participating at a Discounted Fee on a List of
Dentist is often misunderstood. Dental Offices are aware that PPO Dental
Insurance Plans have "Out of Network" Benefits, although the Benefits are
Drastically Reduced or for Emergency Services Only.
Federal Employee Dental Insurance Programs have an Optional Vision Plan
for $5 per month. Our Federal Dental Insurance Plans are NOT
Discount Dental Programs, Pre-Paid Capitation Plans, PPO Network Programs, Point
Of Service Programs, Closed Panel Programs or Dental H.M.O. Programs. Unique
among the Federal BENEFEDS, OPM, FEHB, FEDVIP Dental Plans, The Smile
NALC - Federal Employee Dental Insurance Programs are the ONLY "Fee for Service"
Freedom of Choice, Traditional Indemnity Dental Insurance Programs offered to
Federal Employees.
THE Smile NALC - Federal Employee
Dental Insurance Programs have NO WAITING PERIODS for Benefits and pays 100%
(after $50 ded.) for Preventive Care from the Effective Date. The Dental
Insurance Programs include an Automatic Increasing Reimbursement Percentage
Benefit on the Basic Class B and the Major Class C Services. The
Federal Employee Dental Plans Automatic Increasing Benefit Provisions, are
meant to ward off Adverse Risk Selection, or enrollees seeking to enroll in the
Dental Insurance Plans only to get the Maximum Annual Payout then Drop Out of
the Dental Insurance Programs. These type of potential members only increase
claims and raise rates. Our Federal Employee Dental Insurance Plans
reward the insured members with Increasing Benefits and Additional Covered
Services for the members Continuation in the Dental Coverage. Members are
Assured access to the Necessary Preventive Care Twice Per Year and can establish
Long Term Patient - Dentist Relationships with a Quality Dentist of their
Choice. The NALC - Federal Employees Dental Plans will pay for initial
placement of fixed bridgework or dentures for natural teeth lost or
extracted while covered under the Plan and for Any Related Teeth Adjacent,
Missing or been Treated BEFORE your Coverage Effective Date. The other
Federal OPM, FEHB, BENEFEDS, FEDVIP Federal Dental Plans offer NO Coverage. Our
Federal Employees Dental Plan provides Coverage for Repair or Replacement,
of Already Placed Dental Work. Including removable or fixed prostheses (crowns,
inlays, onlays, bridges, partilals and dentures) Placedd BEFORE your
Federal Dental Plan Effective Date. A Benefit Most Anyone would Need if Dental
Work was performed in the Past. Existing Dental Work needs to be Maintained,
Existing Dental Work can fail and need to be replaced. Supportive teeth for
Already Placed Dental Work tend to develop problems too. Face it, Dental work

GOLD, SILVER or BRONZE CHOICE OF THREE DENTAL PLANS
The BRONZE
Dental Plan, one of Three Dental Plans to Choose From, is a Dental Plan designed
for Budgeting the Now High Cost of your Families Required Preventative Dental
Care, Twice Per Person Per Year. The BRONZE Dental Plan Pays 100% of your
Preventive Dental Care after a $50 Combined Deductible. Unlike the other Federal
OPM, FEDVIP, BENEFEDS, FEHB Dental Plans that Do Not offer a Family Deductible
Maximum and Deductibles are Per Person Per Year. The Maximum Combined Deductible
Out Of Pocket Charge included with all Three of the offered NALC - Federal
Dental Plans is Three Deductibles Per Family ($150) in a Calender Year. The
BRONZE Dental Plan is Great for Individuals and Families that don't foresee the
need for MAJOR Dental Services other then possibly fillings, x-rays or
oral surgery (including the extraction of wisdom teeth & Gen. Anst). The BRONZE
Dental Plan Option provides Dental Coverage for Preventive (class A) and Basic
(class B) Services at Very Affordable Monthly Rates. A Dental Insurance Program
for Individuals and Families, that don't wish to pay the Higher Premium Cost of
a Dental Insurance Plan that includes Major (class C) or (class D) Orthodontic
Services they most likely will not require. Without the Expensive Premium
Cost the BRONZE Dental Plan will Protect Members and Their Families from Future
Tooth Loss by Assuring members Access to Routine Dental Care, Twice Per Person
Per Year, from a Quality Dentist or Specialist of their Choice. Access to
Quality Routine Preventive Care, Twice Per Person Per Year is a key factor in
any successful Dental Health Maintenance Program.
The
GOLD and SILVER Dental Insurance Plan Options, as of the Effective Date Both
Dental Plans Pay 100% of your Preventive Dental Care, Twice Per Person Per Year,
after a $50 Combined Deductible. The Maximum Combined Deductible Charge is Three
Deductibles Per Family ($150) in a Calender Year. Both the GOLD and SILVER
Dental Plans will reimburse 20% for Basic Class B and 10% for Major Class
C Services in the First Twelve Months of Coverage. Starting in the Thirteenth
Month the Plan ;BENEFITS AUTOMATICALLY INCREASE to 40% for Basic Care Class B
and 25% for Major Class C Services. Beginning in the Twenty-Fift Month, BENEFITS
AUTOMATICALLY INCREASE AGAIN TO 60% for Basic Class B and 50% for
Major Class C Services. There is No Coverage Child Orthodontics (braces). See
